Textron Marine & Land Systems, New Orleans, La., was awarded on Feb. 14, 2007, a $28,434,303 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for Phase II of the Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort for the Armored Security Vehicle Program. Work will be performed in New Orleans, La., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on May 9, 2005. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-05-C-0470).
