personnel to acquire the necessary items needed in the event of a disaster or
catastrophe. Each SIP Emergency Supply Kit should include: one red canvass bag,
Red Cross Emergency Preparedness Kit Type, one battery power ( C or D size
batteries) or Hand Cranking flash light, one battery power radio (C or D size
batteries), two light sticks (duration of 4 hours minimum), two rolls of
plastic sheeting, two rolls of duct tape (minimum 2" wide roll), one
medium first aid kit (able to treat at least 25 injured persons), one whistle,
one pair of scissors and a poly bag for each kit with tamper warning label and
nylon tie to hold zippers together. All quotes should include shipping and

The Federal Government has re-evaluated our approach to emergency preparedness
and response and has made improvements. It has been recognized that while
preparedness at home is important, having a plan for the workplace is just as
critical. In addition to keeping associates safe, there is a need to ensure the
safety of our customers and visitor's as well. The PBS Emergency Management
Office's goal is to make sure that every PBS associate knows what to do, whom
to call, and where to go in the event of an emergency or to secure information
regarding Emergency Management (EM) issues, Continuity of Operations Plan
(COOP), Occupancy Evacuation Plan (OEP), and Shelter-in-Place Plan. Our mission
is to promote unified planning and coordination of disaster mitigation,
preparedness, response and recovery against natural or manmade incidents that
threaten lives and properties before, during and after a major emergency or
disaster. NC4 is a small business firm that provides web-based emergency
management services. At a minimum, services under this contract shall include a
web-based application with 24-hour national incident monitoring services,
mapping services, personalized alert profiles and update/tracking services. The
Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract with a 12-month Base
Period and one 12-month Option Period. The NAICS code is 541690. This Notice of

Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program is accepting bids for the purchase
of a Micom High Frequency (HF) Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) Radio (500
watt). The purchase will include an antenna, a MICOM-3T Rapid Deployment
Package (125 watt)and equipment components. Installation and training services
are also required. Fax quotes are acceptable, but must be received no later
than 2:00pm on July 11, 2007 as stamped by the DHS official fax machine. Fax
